Life’s mysteries can no longer feel like mysteries once you have a clear instruction manual. It’s similar to checking the specs before purchasing an appliance, or turning to the manual afterward to truly understand how to use it to its fullest potential.
As humans, we have only one life. Yet, when we’re born, we’re left without a guide on how to truly live—how to find happiness, or even what happiness really means.
This leaves us in a position where we must learn how to live, often from scratch. In our search for answers, we’re drawn to paths like "self-development," "spirituality," and "religion." But do these paths really offer the guidance we need, or are they just another way to get lost?
Unfortunately, many people who dive into these areas end up making their lives worse, rather than better.
And to make matters worse, these paths often come with a hefty price tag.
People are especially drawn to these ideas after experiencing a series of life’s struggles or when they’re searching for success.
Meanwhile, opportunistic forces are eagerly waiting to exploit their vulnerability, ready to profit from their desperation.
No matter what you buy, the instruction manual always comes for free. But when it comes to the instruction manual for life, it often comes at a steep price.
So, how can we, as humans, learn how to live our lives without falling prey to deception and being ripped off?
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: the answer lies in the Bible.
Human beings are the “lords of all creation,” the most intelligent beings on Earth. If we’re going to place our trust somewhere, shouldn’t we turn to wisdom that comes from those more intelligent than ourselves?
The more deeply we believe in the words of the Bible and the more faithfully we live by them, the more our efforts will bear fruit, helping us live a life aligned with our true purpose.
Following the Word isn’t easy. But relying on other methods will only lead to more struggles, and in the end, all that awaits you is hellish pain.
So, no matter how challenging the journey may be, isn’t it far better to follow God’s guidance, relying on His strength and wisdom?
