Focusing on What Matters: How Living for God Helps Us Grow
If you set your sights on Heaven and live with that focus, you won’t be distracted by meaningless things.
Instead, you will focus only on what truly benefits your spirit, body, and soul, leading to continual growth and development.
The world is filled with an overwhelming amount of information, but much of it is ultimately useless.
In reality, many people struggle to distinguish between what's truly valuable and what's not. Instead, they become captivated by irrelevant information, absorb it with interest, and end up wasting precious time.
As a result, they remain stagnant, never growing or developing, no matter how much time passes.
This distraction and wasted time stem from the fact that they haven't sought to know God or live according to His purpose.
However, we've learned that there is a better way to live—one that involves knowing God and living for Him.
When we live for God, we are no longer distracted by the meaningless things of this world. Instead, as we focus on learning, we concentrate on what’s truly beneficial, allowing us to grow and develop as individuals.
By keeping our eyes on Heaven and living with that focus, we can clearly discern what's useless and what's valuable, leading us to truth and enabling rapid growth in spirit, mind, and body.
