God’s Protection: Not to Prevent Suffering, But to Help Us Find Our Purpose

 


Life isn’t always easy. 

We all face struggles, big and small. 

And when things get tough, it’s totally normal to feel uncertain—especially when it feels like the weight of the world is on your shoulders.

You might even start wondering, "Is God really looking out for me? Is He guiding me through this?"

Here’s the thing: God never promised us a life without hardship. 

His protection isn’t about keeping us from pain; it’s about helping us discover the purpose He has for our lives.

Sometimes, that purpose can only be revealed through challenges. 

In fact, the struggles we face can be part of what shapes us and leads us to our true mission.

Each of us has a unique purpose—something only we can fulfill. 

And that purpose is what gives our lives meaning. 

Without it, we can easily end up feeling lost or stuck, just like the Israelites who wandered in the desert instead of reaching the promised land.

But God’s guidance is there to help us find that purpose, not to make life easy. And sometimes, that means facing hard times.

My prayer for each of us is that we’ll understand this truth—that the love God has for us isn’t just about protecting us from difficulty, but about helping us live with meaning, joy, and blessings.

 And that, through everything, we can live a life filled with purpose, both now and in the life to come.
