The Key to Eternal Love with God : Concentration and Dedication.
People who struggle with concentration often find it difficult to commit to anything for the long term, and as a result, they will never fully experience God’s love.
True concentration can only be developed by clearing our minds of distractions—specifically, the sins that pull us away from Him.
In a previous post, I talked about how true love with God involves both Him and us working for each other.
When God works for us, we experience His love, and it moves us deeply. Likewise, when we work for God, He sees our love and is touched by it.
However, it's important to remember that just saying you’re working for God isn’t enough. God is not pleased if we are simply going through the motions or doing the bare minimum.
He delights in those who pour their hearts into their work, no matter how big or small the task.
On the other hand, when sin creeps into our lives, Satan often disrupts our work. Sin distracts us, keeps us from staying focused, and prevents us from giving our best effort.
People who cannot stay focused on their work often struggle to be successful in any area of life.
Since fulfilling love with God is meant to last for eternity, it’s crucial that the work we do has lasting value. If our efforts don’t stand the test of time, God won’t see us as fit to enjoy an eternal relationship with Him.
That’s why it’s essential to rid ourselves of sin and stay focused on the tasks at hand. Only when we live this way will God deem us worthy of His eternal love and welcome us into His presence in heaven.//
